Lexus RX 2023 SUV: Luxury and Performance Combined
Lexus, the luxury car manufacturer, has introduced the fifth-generation Lexus RX 2023 SUV in India, offering a thrilling driving experience to car enthusiasts. With segment-first features, this latest SUV offers two powertrains, providing powerful turbo hybrid performance.

Segment-First Features
The all-new Lexus RX boasts several segment-first features, including Direct-4-Drive force technology and an HEV system, ensuring an exhilarating driving experience. The latest Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard, providing driver assistance and making the RX one of the safest vehicles on the road.
Two Variants Available
The Lexus RX is available in two variants: the RX 350h Luxury Hybrid and the RX 500h F-Sport+. Customers can choose between two audio systems: Mark Levinson and Panasonic. The RX350h Luxury Hybrid offers eight colour options, while the RX500h F-Sport+ has six, including a new colour option, Sonic Copper.

Technologically Advanced SUV
The RX is the first Lexus model in India and Asia to offer connected features and services, making it a technologically advanced SUV. This feature allows drivers to stay connected and enjoy an enhanced driving experience.
Competitive Pricing and Strong Sales
Despite the bookings for the SUV being opened earlier this year, the luxury car manufacturer has received an immense response from customers. Lexus India has grown more than three times its sales in 2021, and with a vision to double its sales in 2023, the luxury carmaker embodies the spirit of Omotenashi, providing exceptional quality and craftsmanship to its customers throughout India.

Variants and Powertrains
The new Lexus RX is offered in two variants – RX350h Luxury and RX500h F-Sport+. It competes with Mercedes GLE, BMW X5, and Jeep Grand Cherokee. The RX is priced competitively, making it a desirable choice for car enthusiasts.
The RX350h Luxury is powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine paired with a CVT and an electric motor, producing 250hp and 242Nm. The all-wheel drive system is standard and can do 0-100kph in a claimed 7.9 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 200kph. The RX500h F-Sport+ gets a 2.4-litre turbo-petrol engine paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, developing 371hp and 460Nm of torque. According to the claim, the RX500h is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.2 seconds and reaching a maximum speed of 210 kilometers per hour.

Exterior Design and Interior Features
The new RX adopts Lexus’ Alluring X Verve design language, and the RX500h gets the F-Sport body kit, having some visual differences over the standard model. The interior features a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, wireless phone charging, and a panoramic sunroof. Lexus has incorporated its Tazuna, Japanese for rein, concept for the fifth-gen RX, which it defines as being “human-centric” with attention paid to ease of use and convenience.
Conclusion
With segment-first features, powerful performance, competitive pricing, and strong sales, the fifth-generation Lexus RX 2023 SUV is a desirable choice for car enthusiasts. With a focus on exceptional quality and craftsmanship, Lexus continues to embody the spirit of Omotenashi, making it a technologically advanced and luxurious option in the Indian market.
