- Powered by a 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine producing 216 bhp

Ducati India has officially opened bookings for the 2025 Panigale V4, signaling an imminent launch. The Italian motorcycle giant has been teasing the new model across its social media platforms, building excitement among enthusiasts. Unveiled at the 2024 World Ducati Week, the latest iteration of the Panigale V4 introduces significant updates across design, performance, and technology.
Refined Design and Aerodynamics
The 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 boasts a refreshed front-end design, drawing inspiration from the legendary Ducati 916 and the Desmosedici GP race bike. The previous aggressive headlamp setup has been replaced with sleek LED headlights and a redesigned fairing that incorporates integrated winglets. Developed in collaboration with Ducati Corse engineers, the new aerodynamic package enhances stability and reduces drag. Rider ergonomics have also been improved with modifications to the fuel tank, seat, footpegs, and contact points for better comfort and control.

Cutting-Edge Electronics and Features
Ducati’s flagship superbike is loaded with state-of-the-art electronic aids to enhance the riding experience. A standout addition is the new Race eCBS (Electronic Combined Braking System), which partially applies the rear brake when the front brake is engaged, optimizing braking performance based on lean angle and throttle input. The 2025 model features a larger 6.9-inch TFT display, providing riders with intuitive access to an array of controls, including:
- Traction control
- Launch control
- Wheelie control
- Cruise control
- Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
- Multiple riding and power modes
- Bi-directional quickshifter
- Advanced ABS system

Enhanced Performance with Euro5+ Compliant Engine
Under the hood, the 2025 Panigale V4 is powered by an upgraded 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine. The Euro5+ compliant powerhouse delivers an impressive 216 bhp at 13,500 rpm and 120.9 Nm of peak torque at 11,250 rpm. Ducati has implemented weight reduction measures, shedding 1 kg from the engine, contributing to improved overall performance. Maintenance intervals have also been optimized, with valve clearance checks required only every 24,000 kilometers.

High-Spec Suspension and Braking System
The higher-end Panigale V4 S variant features Ohlins electronic suspension on both the front and rear, offering superior handling and ride quality. The motorcycle is equipped with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V4 tires, with sizes of 120/70-ZR17 at the front and 200/60-ZR17 at the rear. Braking performance is handled by dual semi-floating 330mm front discs with Brembo Hypure monobloc calipers and a 245mm rear disc, ensuring precise stopping power.
Lightweight Chassis for Improved Agility
Ducati has introduced a redesigned aluminum alloy chassis that reduces weight by 17%, enhancing the bike’s agility and responsiveness. Another significant update is the switch from a single-sided swingarm to a new double-sided swingarm, which lowers lateral stiffness by 37% and results in a 2.7 kg reduction in kerb weight.

Market Positioning and Expected Pricing
The 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 will face stiff competition from the recently launched BMW S 1000 RR in the Indian market. The previous Panigale V4 model was priced at Rs 27.72 lakh for the base variant and Rs 33.48 lakh for the Panigale V4 S. The upcoming model is expected to carry a slight premium over the outgoing versions, reflecting the added features and technological advancements.
With its aerodynamic improvements, powerful engine, advanced electronics, and refined ergonomics, the 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 is set to redefine the superbike segment in India. Enthusiasts eager to own this high-performance machine can now place their bookings, anticipating an exhilarating riding experience that combines Italian craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology.
