Honda Elevate: Taking on Hyundai Creta and More

Honda Cars India is set to launch its next big model, the Honda Elevate mid-size SUV, and it’s creating quite a buzz among automobile enthusiasts. The Elevate is expected to be a global model and will make its debut in India on June 6, 2023. Here’s what we know about this SUV and what you can expect from it.

Honda Elevate Launch in India:

When it comes to pricing, the Honda Elevate is expected to be in the range of Rs 10.50 lakh to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). The actual pricing details will only be revealed after its launch, but it’s expected to be competitive with other mid-size SUVs in its class.

Honda Elevate Rivals in India:

The Honda Elevate will take on some of the top mid-size SUVs in India, including the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and MG Astor. With such fierce competition, it will be interesting to see how the Elevate fares.

Honda Elevate Features:

The Honda Elevate is designed with an upright front that boasts a striking grille, LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), LED taillamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, and an electric sunroof. On the inside, the cabin is expected to be loaded with features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, wireless charger, and ventilated seats. Additionally, the SUV is expected to come with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Honda Elevate Specifications:

Under the hood, the Honda Elevate will be powered by a 1.5-litre VTEC DOHC petrol engine that generates 121PS of maximum power and 145Nm of peak torque. This engine is also used in the Honda City. The SUV will come with two transmission options – a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT). In addition, there’s a possibility that the Elevate will get the strong hybrid powertrain from the Honda City e:HEV.
