MG Motor India has officially unveiled its second electric vehicle (EV) in India, the MG Comet EV. This new EV model is set to take on the competition, such as the Tata Tiago EV and the Citroen e-C3. Here’s what you need to know about the MG Comet EV.

The MG Comet EV will have a range of 230km on a single full charge, according to a leaked document. The EV will have a 17.3kWh lithium-ion battery, and it’s estimated to take 7 hours to charge from 0-100% and 5 hours to charge from 10-80% using a 3.3kW charger.

The MG Comet EV will reportedly feature a 42PS/110Nm electric motor.

MG has confirmed that the price of the Comet EV in India will range between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).
