Ola S1 X Gen 3: What’s New?
Ola has significantly upgraded the S1 X models by replacing the hub motor with a mid-drive motor and a chain final drive. These models also feature a segmented color LCD dash and the newly introduced brake-by-wire technology, which enables single-channel ABS.

The 4 kWh S1 X model delivers 7 kW (9.3 bhp) peak power, accelerating 0-40 kmph in just 3 seconds with a top speed of 123 kmph. It offers an IDC-certified range of 242 km.
The S1 X+ variant features a front disc brake and borrows the mid-drive motor from the Gen 2 S1 Pro. It produces 11 kW (14.75 bhp), accelerates 0-40 kmph in 2.7 seconds, and has a top speed of 125 kmph.

Ola S1 Pro Gen 3: Enhanced Performance
The S1 Pro Gen 3 now comes in three battery options:
- 3 kWh – Rs 1.15 lakh
- 4 kWh – Rs 1.35 lakh
- 5.3 kWh (S1 Pro+) – Rs 1.70 lakh
The 4 kWh S1 Pro now delivers 242 km range (IDC) with brake-by-wire technology and sees a slight top-speed increase to 125 kmph. Additional upgrades include a redesigned seat, rim decals, chain final drive, and an aluminum pillion grab handle.
Ola S1 Pro+: India’s First Electric Scooter with In-House Battery Cells
Ola’s S1 Pro+ is the first electric scooter in India to feature 4680-format “Bharat Cell” battery technology, developed in-house. The 5.3 kWh battery offers an industry-leading 320 km IDC range, making it one of the longest-range e-scooters available.
The S1 Pro+ also boasts:
- Peak motor output of 13 kW (17.4 bhp).
- 0-40 kmph acceleration in just 2.1 seconds.
- A top speed of 141 kmph.
- Dual-channel ABS with dedicated front-wheel ABS.
- Six color options.
Warranty and Extended Battery Protection
All Ola S1 models come with a 3-year/40,000 km battery and vehicle warranty. Customers can extend the battery warranty to 8 years/1.25 lakh km by paying Rs 14,999.
