Maruti Suzuki, India’s leading automaker, unveiled its latest premium compact SUV, the Fronx, at the Auto Expo 2023. Bookings for the vehicle have begun, with a token amount of Rs 11,000 required to reserve a Fronx. The Fronx will be available in five variant options: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha. Prices for each variant will be announced in the near future. Customers will have a choice of six monotone and three dual-tone color options for the Fronx. Monotone options include Nexa Blue, Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Earthen Brown, Opulent Red, and Splendid Silver. Dual-tone options include Earthen Brown with a Bluish Black roof, Opulent Red with a Bluish Black roof, and Splendid Silver with a Bluish Black roof.

Maruti Suzuki’s Fronx compact SUV comes equipped with Suzuki Connect, featuring over 40 intelligent connected car features. The Fronx also boasts advanced safety features, including up to six airbags (available in Zeta and Alpha variants only), ABS with EBD, ESP with hill hold assist and rollover mitigation, Brake Assist (BA), and ISOFIX.
Under the hood, the Fronx offers two petrol engine options. The 1.2-liter K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine generates 89 horsepower at 6,000 RPM and 113 Nm of torque at 4,400 RPM, and is available with both five-speed manual and five-speed AMT options. Meanwhile, the 1.0-liter K-Series turbo petrol engine produces 99 horsepower at 5,500 RPM and 147.6 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 4,500 RPM. This turbo engine is offered with both five-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission options.
