Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch its highly anticipated re-badged Toyota model, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto, on the 5th of July, 2023. This remarkable three-row premium MPV takes inspiration from the renowned Toyota Innova Crysta, which currently holds the title of the best-selling strong hybrid vehicle in the country. Maruti Suzuki aims to bolster its brand image and showcase its commitment to environmentally friendly technology through the introduction of the Invicto. While the carmaker doesn’t anticipate high sales volumes, it seeks to captivate consumers with its cutting-edge design and carbon-friendly hybrid tech. Expected to be priced similarly to the Innova Crysta strong hybrid, the Maruti Invicto is poised to become the new flagship model.

Unveiling the Maruti EVX Electric SUV: Exclusive First Images

Toyota’s premium MPV lineup boasts six strong hybrid variants, namely the VX (7-seater), VX (8-seater), VX (O) (7-seater), VX (O) (8-seater), ZX, and Z (O). These exceptional models are priced between Rs 25.03 lakh and Rs 29.99 lakh (ex-showroom). As for the forthcoming Invicto, industry insiders anticipate a price range of 25 lakh to 30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Exquisite Design and Powerful Performance

The Maruti Suzuki Invicto 7-seater MPV will be available in the luxurious Alpha+ trim and will be equipped with a potent 2.0L Atkinson cycle petrol engine combined with an electric motor. This exceptional powertrain delivers an impressive claimed power output of 184bhp. The transmission duties will be skillfully managed by an e-Drive gearbox. Built on Toyota’s renowned TNGA-C platform, the Invicto undergoes a few noteworthy changes both internally and externally. In terms of dimensions, the new Maruti Invicto will closely align with the Innova Crysta. Reports suggest that the Invicto will be available in a captivating single Nexa Blue color option.
