Volkswagen has announced that it will be introducing new variants and special editions for its Taigun SUV from June 2023 onwards. These updates are set to add more excitement to the Taigun’s Performance Line range. Here’s what we know so far:

New Taigun GT Variants
The Taigun’s “Performance Line” will be expanded with the addition of two new variants – the GT+ MT and GT DCT. Both variants will be equipped with the larger 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, which is presently only available with the GT lineup. This means that customers will be able to enjoy the power and performance of the GT variants with the added convenience of a manual or automatic transmission.
Stylish New Shades
Apart from the new variants, the Taigun will also be offered in two new shades – “Lava Blue” and “Deep Black Pearl”. Additionally, the “Carbon Steel Grey” shade will now come with a matte finish. These new shades are sure to turn heads on the road and provide customers with more options to choose from.

Special Editions
Volkswagen has also showcased two new concepts of the Taigun SUV – the “Trail” and “Sport”. These special editions feature unique cosmetic enhancements that add to the vehicle’s sporty and rugged appeal. It’s not yet clear if these special editions will make it to production, but they’re certainly worth keeping an eye out for.
Standard Seatbelt Reminder
In addition to the new variants and special editions, Volkswagen has also announced that all Taigun models manufactured from April 2023 onwards will now come with a seatbelt reminder as standard. This is a welcome safety feature that is sure to be appreciated by all Taigun customers.

With the introduction of new Taigun GT variants, stylish new shades, and special editions, Volkswagen is sure to keep the Taigun fresh and exciting in the Indian market. These updates are set to arrive in June 2023 and we can’t wait to see them on the road.
